Here are a few of the activities we have plan each year and we would like you to play a part. These events are planned in an effort to promote unity and to continue to make Bedford Hills a desirable, enriching place to live. Please consider involving yourself and/or your family as a participant, volunteer or organizer. Take a look at the list and let us know how you would like to become involved in your neighborhood!
Sweets for Seniors
Valentine’s Day is the perfect time to remind our Bedford Hills seniors of how much we care about them and how valued they are to our community. That’s why each February we call on our neighbors who have a knack for baking to whip up lots of cookies, brownies and other sweets to give to our seniors. We then gift wrap the sweets in pretty bags and bows and personally delivery them to our seniors on Valentine’s Day. If you can help by providing the baked goods, wrapping the sweets or delivering them to our always delighted seniors, please let us know! And, if you know of a senior to add to our list, don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
Annual Tree Lighting
Join your neighbors for plenty of holiday cheer, fresh-baked cookies, hot chocolate and a visit from a very special guest in a red suit! The Bedford Hills Elementary School and the Antioch Baptist Church lead us in songs of the season before the ceremonial tree lighting at the Bedford Hills train station.
Got ideas for additional events? Let us know! We are always looking for new ideas to bring our neighbors together.
